The photographic series stems from a profound observation of rocks as silent witnesses to the passage of time. Each crack, texture, and sculpted form reveals a story of transformation and resilience. Rocks are symbols of permanence, but also of constant change, as they are shaped by invisible forces such as wind, water, and time. These works are done by cutting the printed photographs (on Arches paper), in different shapes like the rock´s erosions.

Intervined photography/collage

De una forma muy natural sin forzar, surgieron estas imágenes abstractas que dan cuenta de un trabajo ligado a lo pictórico, en acrílico sobre tela, como un cierre de un proceso que se ha gestado hace unos anos.

Installation

I knew there was a third part to complete the exhibition. And after trial and error, research, exploring different materials, different concepts, this installation emerged. Finally, everything happened very freely and spontaneously, and one day I started cutting PVC plastic into rock shapes. And that was the starting point.

Painting

From the photographic series, the need to establish a pictorial narrative as a plastic interpretation of what I see through the lens arises.

This is how, through abstraction, a pictorial point of view of rock erosion and its shapes is born to achieve a visual sequence of photographs.
